At 8:40 am this morning (exactly one week before next Saturday’s first wave start), Flathead Lake was as smooth as glass. Of course there have also been some choppy mornings lately so keep your fingers crossed. The water temp has been consistently in the low to mid 70′s and was exactly 70 today after some cooling rain last night. Wetsuits will certainly be allowed on race day, but the swim should also be quite comfortable sans neoprene.
